that's me.

My name is Jim Nicholls, and I run Rockwood home improvement.

 

I grew up in Colchester, Essex which is where I first started dabbling in property renovation and refurbishment,

 

in 2005 I relocated to Edinburgh where I met my wife, Olivia. After we married in 2012, we briefly relocated to Bristol before settling in Bradford on Avon where we still live today with our two young daughters.

For 23 years worked as a manager in the social care sector focusing on young adults with profound learning disabilities & autism. In 2015 I stepped down from my position as registered manager of two residential services in hilperton to focus on property renovation & refurbishment which I had being doing as a hobby for many years.

Professionally, I have been in the business of home improvement for over eight years now. My experience in property renovation and furniture manufacturing has given me a strong understanding of what people need to make their homes more comfortable and inviting.
